You know you have some good friends when they are willing to wake up at 5 in the morning to drive two hours away to take some pictures.

The pictures below is the result of that: friends willing to tag along on my crazy adventures.

It has been so long since we’ve blogged. The wait is over, and I promise it was worth it!

We are serious. Backyard weddings are our favorite, and we want to photograph more of them. There truly isn’t anything like photographing two people becoming one in a place where they feel at home and surrounded by family. There are no schedules to follow, no pressure. It’s bliss.

Out of all the weddings that we have photographed, this wedding has been one of the ones we’ve been most excited to photograph. I have so many favorite pictures. I could not pick and narrow it down to only a few. So grab a cup of coffee or tea and enjoy scrolling through these photos that tell a story of true love.

love never fails.

Congratulations Laurie and Gerron!

These ladies are some of the nicest people we have ever met! Everyone who knows them will agree!

We love it when a beautiful couple comes around with extraordinary hearts, and asks us to be a part of their wedding day. Tiffany and Stu are some of the nicest folks you will ever have the pleasure of knowing. Every one who knows them will agree. Their love beams out of these photos.  Their hearts for each other could not be any more pure and full of love. This blog post is very special to us, because these two are very special to us.  It was our true joy to share these moments with them and now all of their friends and family!

Grab yourself a cup of coffee. Its a long post. Warning: you will smile a ton while scrolling through these. This happy couple loves to laugh.

This family.  I’ve already sat here for 30 minutes to try to gather my thoughts to put into words about how I feel about them. There is just not enough words to describe how amazing these people are. They have helped Josh and I in big ways, and  they might not even realize how much of a great example they are to us. I know that any one who has met them has felt at home and hugged from the very first hello. They are a treasure, and I am so happy that I know them.

We had plans to go to a field and take pictures, but it was a gloomy day, but we made the best of it and  We spent the afternoon baking cookies, and just enjoying their company. Miss you guys!

Emily is not just the most thoughtful, caring, and nicest people I know. She is a proverbs 31 kind of lady. She always encourages, and will always be there when you need her. A true treasure of a friend, one of the best a girl can ask for.  I met her a long time ago. We went to middle school together for one year, and have kept in touch. She reached out to me in one of the most difficult times in my life, and for that I am forever grateful.  I  feel so honored to have captured these moments for her. Every detail of this wedding pointed straight to love. Stan you have a gem. Emily, I am so happy you found your perfect mississippi man! (big hugs)

This is a long post, but a very good one. It was very difficult to narrow down my favorites in to one blog post.
